Preliminary Flighting for S08 is  scheduled to be posted 1/28 at MCYSA  http://www.mcysa.org/Flighting.htm  Please check your teams flighting - if you think it is not correct you must go through the Director of Travel  to request a change. Please include your team name, the flight you have been placed in and an explanation of why you think it should be changed. The Dir. of Travel  will submit your request to MCYSA but keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that any change will be made.

Please submit your requests by email  to the Director of Travel  by 2/1/08 to allow  time to submit the request to the league before 2/04/07. Anything after that is just too late.

Please note the flighting posting dates and deadlines are listed as tentative on the the MCYSA site - so please check often for the preliminary flighting - if you think your team is mis-flighted it is imperative that you get information to Clare Charles Director of Travel before the deadline - this is the only way we can request a flighting change and then nothing is guaranteed - if the league thinks that's where your team belong that's where it stays. Mis -flighting usually occurs because you did not give enough information about your teams' abilities etc. So if you're requesting a change please provide Clare with as much detailed information about your teams level of play and the reason you think they need to be moved. Saying you think they should be in a higher or lower flight with out detailed reason is just not going to make it happen. If you miss the deadline it is impossible to make a change.

Pre-season Game Date Conflicts:

Check Spring 2008 Game Dates   If the MAJORITY of the players on your  team have a conflict with a particular date and there are not enough to field a team, please note there are only specific reasons allowed and a team may make only one pre- season conflict request.

Approval of the Conflict Date and Permission to Reschedule a game is not automatic.  Abuse of the Conflict Notification option has forced a new policy where submissions of multiple conflict dates for a team will not be honored.  Approval will be at the discretion of the Games Chair.

Exception: If you have a National Competition or State Cup game conflict your league game will be automatically postponed as you progress thru the competition.  If you have a bye for a National Competition or State Cup game you will be expected to play the league game as scheduled. Re-scheduling procedures must be followed for the missed league game.
