"Premier" Team Policy
1.
Premier Team status will be awarded
based on Board approved criteria on a case by case basis by a majority vote of
the Sparta Soccer Club Board each year. Criteria include:
a) tournament
experience, b) State Cup experience, c) flighting,
and d) record.
2. Only one Premier Team (one for boys, one for girls) in
each age group for Division 1 through Division 4 (U12 only) will be permitted
(i.e., Div. 3B-U14, Div. 3G-U13).
3. For Division 3 and above, a majority (51%) of
the team must be

prior to regular travel team tryouts
5. Teams must play in the most competitive
flight for their age group in a Board approved Youth Soccer League.
6. A player’s agent (non-coach) will be
appointed to mediate any dispute that a player or parent has with a Premier
Team.
7. The team must adhere to the Laws of the youth
soccer league in which they participate.
8. All other Rules of the Sparta
Soccer Club shall apply.
